Product review: Kose Softymo Nose Clean Pack (Black)
Bonjour~
I hope everything is well with everyone :3. I am going to do another product review! This time, it's the Kose Softymo Nose Clean pack strips in black. I purchased this from Sasa.com for about $4.80 CAD. They come in packs of 10 nose strips and come in a male and female version (the male version is a little bigger).
This is a nose strip that removes dirt, impurities, and blackheads from pores and is suitable for all skin types. How to use it: Wet your nose with water and peel off nose strip from plastic. Adhere sticky side of nose strip to your nose and allow it to dry. When completely dry, peel off and admire how dirty your nose is.
I quite like it. This pore strip sticks nicely onto my nose and covers fairly well. I actually prefer their men's pore strips to the women's because it's larger and covers more o^-^o;;. I also feel like it does a nice job of removing my whiteheads and you see it better on the black pore strips than the white pore strips (I get a strange satisfaction from seeing all the gunk on the strip >_<). Also, once the pore strip was removed, my nose felt smoother as well. For the price, it's a pretty good product :). It probably won't remove ALL your dirt and whiteheads, but it does the job fairly well. Thank you for reading! Ling~

Product Review: JuJu Aquamoist Moisture Eye Cream
Hello ole' chaps!
How goes the morning? I do say it's been quite dreary outside... so... while my dear friend Tara watches X-men cartoons with me I decided to delight you with this product review. Actually, I know a product review has been long overdue so I finally manned up like a sir and wrote one. This one is going to be about the JuJu Aquamoist moisture eye cream that I purchased off of Sasa.com a while ago. I'm on the market for a new eye cream and wanted to try this out since usually JuJu has some good products. This costs about $19.50 CAD and comes in a 20g squeeze tube. What does this product claim? JuJu Aquamoist Moisture Eye Cream contains sodium hyaluronate to automatically replenish skin without stopping and lasts up to 24hrs. It prevents lines from dryness and forms a moisture rich protective layer around the eyes the increase lustre and brightness to the eye area. This product also contains collagen to smooth fine lines and leave your skin plump and elastic while adenosine strengthens the recovery of skin to prevent wrinkles. Suitable for: All skin types and delicate skin. How to use it: After cleansing, toning, and using serum... massage a small amount into the skin around the eyes. Apparently you can also use this for around your mouth. It dispenses out as a cloudy white cream.
I have been using this product consistently every night and morning. Personally, I feel that this cream didn't really suit my needs. It is a little too light for me and thus I felt like it wasn't moisturizing my eye area as well as I'd have liked. Also, it didn't really decrease the fine lines or wrinkles around my eyes or really kept it plump and elastic for 24hrs. On a positive note, I did like that it dispensed well and absorbs well when applied. It also allows you to use a small amount with each use so it will last you a long time. I did not have any reactions to this cream and I did not break out from using it. This also wears well under makeup during the day. However, in the end, I think for me I need a heavier eye cream with more anti-aging benefits... this felt like I was just using a regular face lotion... thus making it useless to me. If you like light eye creams this might be worth a try though. :o Thanks for reading, hope that helps! I have another product review coming up as well! Ling~

I miss you~!
Hi everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been posting. I got back from Vancouver on the 26th and then worked the following days so I was lazy. I am going out partying with the posse on Saturday so I hope to have some pictures for you :)
In the meantime... I hope to appease your boredom with these pictures that I forgot to post from BC. I saw Spiderman and Ironman at the Japanese market with palty hair samples taped onto them like Donald Trump's comb-over. They were magnificent. I decided to purikura them. At Daiso I spotted a couple dancing a beautiful waltz. There was a new cafe at Aberdeen mall and decided to try it out. It was pretty good! Had curry and casserole (mmm!) and finished it off with Japanese style parfait. Hope to talk to you soon :) Ling~ Labels: random

Spring on the farm~
I woke up this morning and saw that the farm looked alive and amazing so I wanted to show you some pictures from the farm. This blueberry/other assorted vegetable farm has been owned by my grandparents since the dawn of time (well... okay since they emigrated from Malaysia and decided to live here) but it's been here since I started to exist. I have always been at this farm every summer when I was growing up and even now to this day I always make sure to visit. It has a lot of special memories for me (and a lot of embarrassing ones :S) of how I would pick blueberries, build forts in the back of the farm, step on underground wasp hives, and playing on the swing sets. My family has been firmly rooted into this place. :) Now that my Grandpa has passed the farm feels a little different... almost a little empty because growing up I would always see him at the crack of dawn plowing the fields, making sure all the plants are watered, and seeing that the blueberries are doing well. At his funeral, I found out that a lot of the money he got from selling vegetables went to help start a church his friend wanted to build. It's really inspiring. My Grandma also really loves this farm so my family who are living here help to try to keep it looking pretty. The garden when it's fully bloomed reminds me of the movie "The Secret Garden". Do you remember watching that film? It's so awesome... I wish I could just throw seeds around and it'd become a huge lush garden O_O We still haven't planted all the flowers yet or removed the weeds... the grass is not mowed and the blueberries aren't ripe yet. However, you can see that it's slowly looking better o^-^o Thanks for reading :) My sister finally finished her exam so we're going to hang out for the rest of the trip... perhaps eat some crepes? O_O Ling~ Labels: random
